Our population is aging and our healthcare system is evolving, which means we need more compassionate people to care for our elderly. California is leading the charge in educating and employing Licensed Vocational Nurses! The Bureau of Labor Statistics states that employment of Licensed Vocational Nurses is projected to grow at 11% from 2018 – 2028.*

The Licensed Vocational Nursing program at Summit College provides comprehensive training to prepare students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform LVN duties in a variety of medical facilities. The program focuses on nursing fundamentals and specialty concepts in order to prepare you for the NCLEX exam.
